Windsor Higashi Karate Club was formed in 1991, originally training in Maidenhead in Berkshire. The club has continued to train in the area ever since. Now running classes at Alma Road Youth Centre in Windsor each Wednesday evening.
We are proud members of Higashi Karate Kai (HKK) which has been in operation for more than 30 years.
Our traditional style of Karate is Wado-ryu, on which our modern style of Higashi is based.
We are a friendly group, training is mixed (Adults and Children, aged 8 upwards), and some parents and children come along and train as a family. New members can join us at any time, beginners are always welcome and the first lesson is free. |

Beginners are always welcome in our club, at any time of year. Whatever your level of fitness, come along and join in, and our instructors will help you to progress at your own pace, whatever your starting point. Both dults and juniors train together in our classes, which creates a family atmosphere. |

The Instructors of Windsor Higashi Karate Club are are volunteers. The karate club is run on a voluntary basis, and is a not-for-profit organisation. This doesn't mean that our standards are not high. Both of our instructors have over 20 years experience in karate. We try to keep the costs for our members as low as we can to make our karate club as accessible as possible to everyone.
